my old banshee compared to my stang

I finally made a pass down the track in my stang since I had the wreck

on the banshee I had about a year ago.

I almost know if I hadn't crashed,it would have been a high 6 second run.

I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest yesterday.

I made just one pass.I have some motor mounts that need replaced badly.

It is almost completely stock.It was very hot.Probably at least in the low 90's.

It run a 10.51.

Good grief it feels slow.Especially compared to my old quad,

but the car does have seatbelts and doors. :thumbsup:

 

Stock gears are killing this car.

Replace those mounts and bring it to Memphis, we'll throw a bottle on it and run it up the 1/4 mile track!!! :woot: I got a room for you to stay the night in....let me know!

I've never run there.I think that's an NHRA track isn't it?

It is an NHRA track, a nice one too.

 

Basically as long as your car isn't falling apart you can run out there for T-N-T or midnight madness. They do have a tech inspection but all they do is look under your hood, make sure you have all your lug nuts and proper safety equipment for your vehicle. In your case, as it sits you should be just fine. I used to run all my cars out there, not once did I ever have a problem with the tech inspection.

 

If you run in the 12's, you need a helmet, and I think if you hit the 10's, you need a roll cage...it's been a while but I think that's how it went....

 

I don't think you have to worry about these times just yet, lol. :thumbsup:

lol, it shouldn't take you 10 minutes unless you break something major!!

 

I'd guess low 15's to high 14's on a "stock" 5.0 with a good pass.
