Server Downtime - Explanation

Hey guys...

Am I the only one...or does the banshee hq header load real, real slow?

I love the pics and our riders on there...but it just seems to take a while to paint that.

 

I have two T1s at work and a Cable 6Mb/s Down connection at home...speed is not my problem....

First, I didn't mind the down time. Poo happens.

 

Second, some of the image loading is kind of funny, but not all of it.

 

Third, the weird, laggy loading of forum pages in general seems to have gone away.

 

Last, I generally hold a low opinion of the IT industry and it's people (atleast until they prove otherwise). With that said, in respect to the data center staff, got get 'em Lee. There's no excuse for incompetence in your field at work. I hope you get a chance to verbally insert your foot in their ass. :laugh:

Took me 30min to get in and post this? Somethings still not quite right yet. Running DSL and other sites work fine. Not complaining just letting you know there is still a problem.

Site was slow the last half hour.

However....maybe I've been smoking too much crack...but the banner pics seem to load MUCH faster.

 

Do I need to puff less, give more...or does anyone else agree.

I know I couldn't log on through AOL and had to use IE to view the site for whatever reason in the past month. I never could use the "shout out" feature. Everything is fixed now!!!
