04titanse Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 hey everyone i was looking to see if anyone new of a good place to do the top end on my 2000 banshee this winter. I am in CT but am willing to travel into NY with in reason. In like December i am going to rebuild my top end and do some mods. right now she runs very good but is stock and the compression is a little low, like 110-115 in both cylinders. Thanks for any help. BansheeKid15 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 if your gunnin to re-do the top end for the mods, then i would say tear it down. As of right now, your compression is more than fine for riding, IMO i would ride the hell out of it, and then when its time, do the rebuild. Anything below 100 psi, and you should be looking to rebuild. Stock compression is 130 psi Quote
