andrelavoie Posted July 19, 2007 Report Posted July 19, 2007 (edited) I read a lot in your forums and i found that kenda and maxxis seems to be te better choice. I just want to know which one wear out the slower. I have a 2004 banshee and I have the Dunlop tires that were on it when I bought it. I do not need a lot of grip and I do a little bit of everything including asphalt. I also wanted to know if I'm better to change the front tires too even if they are in good shape. I also would be grateful if you could precise which model. Thanks a lot edit : I'm sorry for the second post, I don't know how to delete it, Edited July 19, 2007 by andrelavoie Quote
Michael Jackson Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 maxxis razr 2 , they wear awesome, they have very good traction too, and slide great, they wear out alot slower than all the ITP's Quote

andrelavoie Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 Thanks all for the answers but I have another question. I'm looking right now for kenda knarly but I just want to know if I'm better going with HT or XC. Also, are the front kenda klaw tires good too? Thanks Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 ive tried more dirt tires than anyone on this site and im telling you for the price kenda knarlys and stock yfz450 tires last the longest in the widest variety of terrains. they also hook better and are lighter weight than most others. i would go with the 20" knarlys.. not the XC ones. from RMATV they run 45 bucks a piece. the knarly fronts are excellent tires. i have them on all three of my bikes. if you cant find the knarlys try to find the stock 450 tires.,. andrelavoie Posted July 21, 2007 Author Report Posted July 21, 2007 Thanks a lot for the reply and be sure I will buy a set of knarly HT tires. But when you speak of knarly front, which model do you speak of? I think you speak of K532F Klaw Front multi terrain . Can you confirm?
