Banshee 79 Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Hey i just got some new smaller chromed out headlights and the wiring is for two wires and the stock is for three...how do i do this? Hook one wire up to the yellow wire, and hook the other wire to the black wire which is your ground. That will put your headlights on the high beam position on the handle bar switch. Then just tape off the green wire so it cannot ground out to anything. Quote

The Faster Cracker Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 does the wiring diagram described above apply as well to the PIAA lights that you can buy through yamaha? Quote
seabass Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 Whe cutting the wires to splice, do I cut between the light and the plug ( leaving the plug in place), or eliminate that plug all together? It seems alot easier to leave the plug. Thanks in advance for any info. Quote
