grounded Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Right now my paddle tire is still on it, but the one in the pic should be a michelin m-12, they seem to work great on the hard pack / over watered tracks out here Quote
fox_forma Posted July 18, 2007 Author Report Posted July 18, 2007 I'm waiting on a spare rear wheel so I can put a paddle on it and just swap out where sets instead of changing the tires each time I want to ride hard pack or sand Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Mine get hotter than a bastard but there suppose to do that, i wouldn't worry about it i've burned my leg plenty of times. Quote
fox_forma Posted July 21, 2007 Author Report Posted July 21, 2007 prob gonna run the bike tomorrow for a hard run so we'll see. Either it will pull ass all day long or something is going to go wrong. I think I'm going to drop the needle clip one just to check cause I think my problem lies in the mid range being a tad lean Quote
fox_forma Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 ran the piss out of the shee yesterday and had no issues besides I def need to drop the needle one for a little more fuel. Once running on the main jet which is where it mostly stayed at it was screaming, just mid throttle response was a little sluggish so I'm pretty sure it was starving for fuel. Had some nice drags going on with my buddies on his shee and another yfz450 but if I got out off the main during shifts thats when I fell behind a tad. Gonna richen up the needle a little and see what happens. I brought my helmet cam and everything only to forget the bullet cam itself so it was a lost cause. Quote
grounded Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Where'd you guys go riding at? Weathers been decent............ might need to knock the dust off the RM w/ you guys sometime! Quote
fox_forma Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 Went up to cave creek and tatum, not sure if it has a name of not but has some pretty sweet spots to rip around in and has a lot of homemade kickers, mostly for dirt bikes though. Next time I go I'm taking the RM and leaving the shee home, it just beats ya up to mcuh Quote
