LiftdT4R Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Ok, bought this off of another member here because I thought my basket was bad, but it wasn't, so I didn't use it. Here's the deal. The previous owner used a bigger clutch in it, and it wore small grooves in the teeth, you could file them down a little and it would be more then fine, it's only on a couple teeth anyway. Also the gear on the back is too big, so you would have to swap that with your stock gear. There are just 4 allen head bolts holding it on. I was looking for 75 shipped, but I'm open to offers. They go for over $200 new, with a little bit of work, this thing would be good as new. Also, no more paypal unles you want to include the extra 3%, MO preferred. Quote

It is worn, but for $75 for a $200+ basket you could file it down, or send it back to Hinson, I'd do it myself if I had the time and wasn't putting back together 2 bikes. Quote
