BillyRay Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 (edited) I have a long rod big bore Banshee (426) with T5's with a hush kit. The motor has been dune ported with a shaved head (180 psi cranking compression), running 35mm AirStrikers. Set up for running filter pods I am running 158 mains and it is spot on at my elevation (1,000'). To be on the safe side to run the bike where I ride here in Minnesota where we have no dunes I have added an airbox with the proflow kit without the stock cover. What is the rule of thumb for jet size difference for airbox and filter pods. I would like a starting point to jet this bike, one or two jet sizes down, etc??? Edited July 7, 2007 by BillyRay Quote
dajogejr Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Probably 2 to 4 jet sizes down (taking into consideration temp and altitude changes, if there are any) Probably have to lean out the air screw 1/2 to 1 turn. May or may not have to lean the needle one clip.... Quote
