milo_32000 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Alright guys, I really need you help, I took my cards off to clean them, and I have the carbs in the right place, when I put it back up the left carb slide is about 1/2 inch from closing , what the hell have I done ?I have not changed any adjustments as a matter of fact throttle works great, no binding at all. fastrthnu Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Thats odd.Is the needle going all the way down into the jet? your jet needle isnt going into the hole, try lifting the front of your bike to level the carbs and try again. Slide cutout towards the filter. Could also be slide in the wrong way hitting your idle screw. Quote
Michael Jackson Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 you probabably messed up the adjustment on the top of the carb on the throttle cable and it doesnt have enough slack to let the slide all the way down, adjust the cable on top of the carb and get them in sync, goin up and down together Quote
