Will these wheels fit stock rear rims? Holeshot MXR4 18x10-9... Are they good for trails? Whats the difference between the 10x9 and 10x8, is it the width? Which one would be better?

The last number is the rim size. Stock banshee rims are 9" so the 18/10/9's would be what you want.

On a side note, 18" tires aren't what you want for trails and the MXR tires wear out quick. Anywhere from a 20"-22" tire is what you should be looking at. I'd reccomend Kenda Knarly's, Holeshot XC, or Razr 2's.

I myself have only used the HoleShot XC's but I've heard nothing but good about the other two and even still those aren't the only good options open to you.

So what do you recommend for MX and trails?

I'm running pure sports for front and back and I just cannot hook at all in the dirt! On the street its a beast but that aint helping.. I just looked up the Holeshot XC's 20" and like what I see.. While at it I'll be replacing the rear rims, what size is the best to run other than stock size or is the stock size a good choice?

Depends on which you do more often or are more serious about or what kind of trail riding you do. 18's will high center you all the time in the trails I ride.

What I'd reccomend to you before new tires even as far as hooking up in the dirt and on the track is a -2 swinger. Makes a diffrence like you wouldn't believe and trust me, it's not unmanagable. Meaning it's not just going to stand on end on you.

My favorit tires out of kenda klaws, razr's, and holeshots are the holeshots.

I have those exact tires on mine and they hook up awesome! But, i'll agree that ifyou're trails are rutted up, you're gonna get high centered. The trails i ride on most of the time aren't rutted to bad, plus, we have a mini mx track to play around on and these tires are perfect for that. I love the gearing these tires give you, but you could get that by changing the sproket. I have bigger tires i take with me on trail rides, so if the terrain gets too rutted, i can change to bigger tires for more clearance. The tires hook up though, really well.

I have bandits on the front and just replaced the rears with ITP, GNCC`s and I wont get another tire for woods riding now. They are great. Quick wear though.

yeah, I am running a -2 swingarm you can get your stock one cut and welded for cheap. A -2 swingarm is the single best mod you can do for your banshee in the dirt
