  1. i would also like to know....
  2. bump up to the top for a great seller!
  3. I have those exact tires on mine and they hook up awesome! But, i'll agree that ifyou're trails are rutted up, you're gonna get high centered. The trails i ride on most of the time aren't rutted to bad, plus, we have a mini mx track to play around on and these tires are perfect for that. I love the gearing these tires give you, but you could get that by changing the sproket. I have bigger tires i take with me on trail rides, so if the terrain gets too rutted, i can change to bigger tires for more clearance. The tires hook up though, really well.
  4. I'll take the grill, pm sent.....

    Rear rims

I need a couple rear rims. They gotta be 9 inch. I don't about the appearance of them, gold, silver, whatever....as long as they roll straight and the holes aren't worn. I'm gonna paint them anyway. So, the cheaper the better. Let me know....I need these reletively soon. Thanks!
  8. I got the 07 Moose Racing M1 boots for $100.00 shipped. They have the ATV soles which is nice when you gotta get off the bike for something. You actually have some traction on your boots. I got 'em from native*indian on ebay. I'm really happy with them so far. Very comfortable and not even broke in yet...
  9. Thanks for the input guys. After i adjusted alittle bit, my carb tops kept coming loose as i rode, not sure if i fixed the problem cause i didn't have time to go back out and ride it. My left carb top was really loose, turns out the bracket thing that holds it in place wasn't holding it, so i bent it to hold the top better. Should i use a bit of Locktight? Then i notice the right side was a little loose, so i did the same thing to it. That'll probably fix the high idle, i hope, then i just hope it fixes the little bit of misfire in the right cylinder. Funny thing is, i forgot to turn my gas back on once, and when i ran the carbs out, the right side ran out way before the left side ran out. For some reason, that doesn't sound right. Any ideas? That should signal a problem somewhere???? I wish i had time to ride it again, but i keep it away from home and i had to go home, so time was against me. i'll probably get back down there this weekend. I'll check my silencer's to see if they are blocking any flow as well.... Again, thanks for the reply's, this site is so much help with troubleshooting!
  10. Yeah, i have the stock 25's in there....so you think i should go up to a 27.5? I thought most people could run stock pilots with just pipes and a filter? Thanks for your reply.

    Pipes/Silencers...

Sorry guys, should've updated, i bought a set of T5's from NYUK. Thanks for the reply's though.
  12. I've searched, but can't find what i'm looking for. I'm kinda lost here. Here's my mods: Stock top end, T5's, ready filter and no snorkle. My elev. is around 700ft and it's around 50-75 degrees right now. I still have the TORS connected. I know, i gotta get rid of it.... I just installed my T5's(thanks NYUK!) this weekend along with new main jets. I bought 270's, 280's and 290's. I put the 280's in so i'd have room to adjust up or down. I sprayed down the inside of the carbs with carb cleaner while i changed out the jets.(had 220's in it) It ran great before with the stock pipes. When i first cranked it up, It acted really funny. The left side sounded great, idled fine, but the right side kinda sounded like it was only firing half the time. This was at idle and all the way up until the powerband hit, then all was well. So i synced the carbs with the idle knowbs on the tors and played with the air screws (actually runs best with them all the way in!) and it seemed to fix the problem, only now it idles really high, but not all the time. When i set it, the idle was fine, then i went out riding for awhile and it would idle really high when i stopped. It will go down to normal idle if i put it under load and lower the rpms(let out the clutch with the brake on, without any throttle) and it will stay that way til i rev it again, then it's back up to the high idling. I tried adjusting the idle knobs down and it kills the motor as soon as i turn them. Can anyone figure this out for me? I rode for about 2 hours like this, probably not the smartest thing, but thost new pipes are wicked. Just gotta figure this idle thing out. Could i need a bigger pilot? Do i need to move my needle jet? Is it something else? I'm not good at figuring out carbs, so help a brother out!

    Tires.....

Would like to find some tires/wheels to change out for summer. I have crappy tires that are only good for mud bogging(something i don't do). I would like some holeshots, razrs, bandits, Kenda's, fast trekkers, 450 tires, or anything similar. A good all around tire with at least 60-70% tread. I don't have to have rims, but if they're already mounted and you're wanting to get rid of them, i'll buy the wheels too. I need the size to be either 18" or 20" tall and fit a 9" rim. Let me know what ya got!

    Pipes/Silencers...

Awesome, that'd be great man. What kind of pipes are "Last Rebel Racing"? Low? Mid? I wouldn't be interested in the CPI's, too expensive and too much top end with little low end.
  15. I know a couple of you have some pipes/silencers, i've seen them in posts, i just can't remember who. Anyhow, I'd like to pick up a set, preferably chrome in decent shape. I'd like to get them as cheap as possible, so let me know, what you have. I'd like some FMF's, Procircuits or even DG's in decent shape since i'm a trail rider and need the low end. You can either post the pics in here or email them to [email protected] I'm looking to buy asap! I'd like to have them by this weekend, but, i can settle for next weekend....

    Front Shock Bolt

I somehow broke mine this weekend. Dented up my radiator real good too. I don't even know how or when it happened, i just looked down and my front left side was bottomed out, then i saw the shock was totally out of where it was supposed to be and jamed against my radiator. I need one of those bolts. Anyone have one laying around? I'd hate to have to go pay the dealer for something like this. If they even have one.
  17. I've got a 6cyl hard top TJ. I love it. I rigged up a hoist system in my garage to where i can take the top off myself. I just back it in, unscrew the 6 bolts, hook up the hoist and off comes the top. Pretty simple. It's quieter and a little warmer in teh cold than a soft top. But, with a soft top, you always have your top with you.(unless you take it completely off) Ideally, i'd like to have both. But i got the hard top just because i prefer it. I'm getting a bikini top for the summer. My buddy has a soft top and it's not bad at all. He's a little jealous of me in the winter and i'm a little jealous in the summer, just because he can put the top up in one of those pop up rainstorms. But they both have thier pro's and con's. I definately without a doubt suggest the full/hard doors. Unless of course it's gonna be a strictly off road jeep. Then those half doors are nice, but for a DD, full doors without a doubt. That was a no. 1 for me, along with the 6cyl and manual. I got the manual just because i've always prefered manuals. Either tranny is fine as long as you dont have a 4 cyl. 4cyl'rs are only good if it's gonna be a crawler or strictly off road. Daily driving is just horrible with them. No power. And yes, you can get 200k out of the 6cyl motor. It's a great motor and with proper maintainence and care, it'll last forever. Here's my jeep...
  18. Frame is still silver, but it's all black...

    Need some parts....

Would you ship just one? If so how much? If you don't want to split into an odd number, how much for both of the fronts?
  20. Like the title says, i need an upper left A-arm. I also need 1 front rim(gold if possible cause i painted them black). If no one has a front gold rim, i'd take 2 fronts if the price is right. Preferably black. Having tires is a plus if i get both of them. Otherwise... set of tires, with at least 75% tread. Not picky on the brand, but i dont' want lawn mower tires either. Rear Grab bar (stock is fine) Front bumper (stock or aftermarket) Nerf Bars (would like to have black nets) I'm ready to buy today. The rim, aarm and grab bar are most important because my rim and aarm are bent and i have no grab bar. Condition isn't that important because i'll be sanding and painting them anyway. If someone has all this stuff, maybe we could work out a package deal. I guess just shoot me a shipped price. I live in Indianapolis, IN 46227
  21. Sorry guys, i found one, but thanks alot for the offers. I'm still in need of some more parts, look forward to my other posts....coming soon.
  22. Well, just got off the phone with the shop(about the axle) and it's completely shot. Bearings blew out and locked up inside the housing, ruining the housing. It got so hot it turned my axle shaft blue. Guess i put the blue in Durablue. So, i'm gonna go get a completely new axle assembly. I can keep some parts for spares, but, just a bad turn of events. Oh well, lesson learned. Take care of your bearings!!!!! I didn't cause this problem, but the dude that had it before me did, and he either knew about the problem, or didn't, but he didn't care too much for this poor 'shee. I'll fix her up though. I'll take some pics of what it looked like and post them when i go pick up the bad axle and housing.... On to the next thing(after i buy and install a new axle assembly of course). Fixing the aarms, geting the carbs tuned right and tearing her down to clean her up.
  23. I am looking to get that fixed. Are the arms stock? color? And, I couldn't really tell that the aarms were bent, by looking at them, but the wheel has a substantial neg. camber to it, so something is bent. Could it be aarms and something else? the hub maybe? It does wobble. the upper Aarm has been welded, but it's looks pretty close to the other side. Any ideas on that? How much ya want for those left aarms?
  24. Yeah, i figured it would be a bitch, cause we couldn't even loosen the axle bolts, so, we just took the whole assembly to a local shop figuring they've got the tools to do it. They orderd the bearing kit, which should be here tomorrow or wednesday. I was just wanting to know if that could be the only thing wrong. And how could it lock up? bearings not greased, therefor, causing the metal to metal locking up the bearings? If it's real expensive, i'd rather just get a whole new unit from Durablu or something, with extentions. but he said it's fairly common for axles to do this, that's why he went ahead and orderd the kit.
  25. Anyone else know if it could be fixed?
