Quadatic20 Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 Looking for some assistance - 1. Where do I find a TORS 26-28mm throttle cable, cable snapped last weekend. Have the cap kit already with throttle screws...just need a new cable? 2. Is the switch wire needed for the thumb throttle? *Had a twist with no switch hooked up, is it needed with the thumb throttlle????? Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 If your talking about the tors wire that was stock on the thumb throttle, then no. You say you already have a twist? - Then yould know that the wire is not needed. If your sayign you want to switch back to thumb, just get rid of the wire. (assuming no tors) - and for the cable, i donno, get some new carbs - sell those stockers  Infact i have some 34 Pj's if you want them! VERY cheap, let me know. Eric  Quote

There is no way to completely eliminate the possibility of a stuck throttle. However, you can greatly reduce the chances by inspecting and properly maintaining your throttle, cable, and carburetors. Also, make sure the throttle cable is routed correctly, no sharp bends, etc. that may cause binding. Quote
