SHEEBANSAVAGE Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Hey guys..I was riding this past weekend and I lost my main skid plate. It was attached with half clamps and I guess I jarred them loose some how and it fell off. How did you guys attach the skids to your shee'?? What brand name skid plate did you go with? A search showed that PRM was popular. What thickness did you use for the main skid? Thx Chad Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 I don't have any skid plates but i've noticed a few things on my banshe as far as bolts and stuff go that they rattle out. So i picked up a little thing of thread lock and haven't had any problems lately. Maybe you should try that with your skid plates. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 I've used Armadillo and DG skid plates and haven't had any problems out of them. They were mounted with the supplied "half" clamps. You can pick up replacement clamps online. Quote

Wertzy Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 I use Armadillo and Richocet skids and they both stand up to my trail punishment very well. Quote

Mine were all thread locked but the half clamps bent and they fell off. Is there any manufacturer that makes a skid plate that uses anything better than half clamps? Quote
