I find it very confusing that only the tail light works and not the headlights. I've changes the fuses, checked wiring, ect. Can somebody help me out so i can get the lights working by this weekend?

Tell us what you are working on. What is the history with your problem.

Probably dumb, but did you check the bulbs?

Follow wires from voltage regulator to head lights. Sounds like something is unplugged or a wire is pinched. Fi you are putting bulbs in the head lights and they are blowing, you have a regulator problem. The tail light is sometimes resistant to higher voltage because of higher resistance. Grab your multi meter and get to it.

Alright i'll try that. The bulbs are fine. Even if they weren't I've tried it by wiring a set of trail techs with new bulbs and still nothing. So bad bulbs are out of the question. But what blowit is saying does sound like a solution. Thanks.
