I am finishing rebuilding a banshee that I bought a couple of weeks ago. It has been bored out .060 over, pro circuit pipes, Twin Air filter with a closed airbox, stock head. I live at about 1200 ft. and summer temps in the 90's. I don't want to run too lean, I would rather err on the rich side. Also, is there a kit I should buy or just the individual jets and needles. Thanks guys.

25 pilot is what comes in it stock...they should be what's in your carbs now.

You can also get jets from the dealership, it's usually where I get mine from.

A plug chop is what you do to make sure your jetting is correct. You warm the engine up on old plugs, shut it off. Put brand new plugs in it, then rip it WOT through 6th gear, pull in the clutch and immediately kill the engine. Come to a stop, pull those plugs out, put your old plugs back in and take the "test" plugs back to the house and cut away the threads. Behind the threads, if jetted correctly, there should be a nice little 2mm brown ring on the porcelain. If it's lean, the ring will be smaller than 2mm or not there at all. If it's too rich, the ring will be larger than 2mm or very dark in color.

Hope that helps.
