I need a locknut for the axle on my 400EX. I replaced the stock axle...and of course no matter how much reefing I do with a BFW, it'll come loose.

Anybody got any used Honda axle lock nuts laying around they want to part with.

I know I can buy a brand new one for 25 bucks and shipping...just thought I'd score a used/cheap one for my dune/play/trail bike...

Thanks...

I've got one, but you'll need the little circlip. It's got some teeth marks from a pipe wrench, but it's totally usable. $10 shipped?

What little circlip? Can you explain? I have the clip that goes around the axle...if that's what you mean?

Elaborate...please...10 bucks for my play bike is right up my alley...LOL.

Do you need anything for your shee? I've got a part or two laying around, we could swap...

let me know...and thanks much!!!

The circlip is what fits in the groove on the axle. The locknut tightens up against it to keep from working it's way off. You probably just need the large nut and thinner locknut that goes with it. I have what you need. :biggrin: Send me your address in a PM.

Yeah...the retaining clip, got it. Is this the stock lock nut assembly?

I have that on there, I want an aftermarket one with pinch or set screws in it.

I've been told by quite a few, even if you loctite it, the stocker will loosen back up after time...

I still have the stock threaded collar, inner and outer nut on there...I"m looking for an aftermarket one.

If yours is aftermarket, I'll take it....

Otherwise, thanks so much anyways!!!

My bad, I thought you needed a stock style replacement. I have a red anodized Rad-Loc on my Honda, that's what you really need. I got mine from Instigator Racing for around $45 shipped w/ a free shirt. The billet ones aren't very cheap, wish I could help you out.
