pokeatyou2 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 ok so i went out and brought some new base gaskets so, then got home and ripped my cylinders off and started sanding my hand i have put in 3 hours into on side of one cylinder. and im getting no where. i have polished heaps of stuff before but what im having trouble with is getting the rough texture out of them. any tips please guys would be great Quote

I used a 220 wheel to smooth all the casting flash and pores, rough edges,. then I hand sanded it with 320, then 400, then poilished. It takes awhile though. Quote
