I am just finishing a complete build up, crank trued&welded by trinity, wiseco pistons .030 over on fresh bore, stock head milled .030 toomey T5 pipes and silencers proflo filter. I have an adjustable timing plate which I ran at +3deg. now that the head has been shaved and fresh rebuild I didn't know what to set the timing at. I generally run only premium 93 octane primixed w/AMSOIL dominator synthetic 50.1 ratio. I am geared low and would like this to build more on the topend. would 4deg be better or to much for the octane I prefer.

Also will the rings seat with synthetic oil or should I break in with something else?

thanks in advance
