Is this normal, what d u think?

I raced a friends 2006 banshee this weekend, it has a set of pro circuits, v force 3s, k&n with snorkel removed, 1200 meters above sea level and the outside temp was a mildly sunny summers day. To my surprise he told me the bike run with a set of 240 mains and needle clip in 2nd position. The race was about 70miles crosscountry and there where times that i was going full throttle for 20 minutes in top gear without closing the throttle once, the bike never felt lean with 240 mains. Can this be true??

20 minutes at WOT throttle, hmmmmmm...... I would do a WOT plug run, and see what the plugs say.
