OK ..Here is the deal I have a 421cc cheetah and just got it all in the new frame. I am using SHEARER in frames and the problem is the pipe on the left side of the bike looking at it from the rear is pushing against the carb ..I called Trinity and they told me to just lean the carb to the side enought to clear the pipe....just looking for some feed back could this just be a bent set of pipes or is this common on banshee's with the pipes not fitting right ..turning the carb towards it side a little just sounds a little strange to me ...any help ??

you need to make a spacer to push the pipes out, 1/2 will work. pipe or tube or bunch of washers will do it.

Thats shearer pipes for ya... Here is the best way to fix it. PM majicmike for a set of his angled intakes. It takes away LOTS of the shearer carb clearance problems. I have lots of space around my carbs now, really nice set up... Here is a couple pics so you can see the angle and how much space they make...

See the angle....
