Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Saturday after a long ride we were about a mile and a half away from camp when this problem started. Every time I'd grab the clutch lever I'd get a small shock. (the type when you jump out of your car and get a small poke) The only thing I could really think of was maybe the ball starting to weld itself to the push rod for the clutch. Any one else have an idea or suggestion? Quote

Id agree with your ball welding theory, the only thing that makes sense :shrug: But, your cable ends right where that perch is on the top of the case. I wouldnt think any electrical current could jump that far, but who knows??? Quote
