liquedfire Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 what puller do u need to do this???? will a 3 jaw puller work?????? thanks GLenn Quote
Duner440 Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 No, you dont want to use a 3 jaw puller. It could damage the flywheel. They make a puller that threads into the center of the flywheel. I know Jeff (FASTOYS) has them in stock. You might send him a PM. Or you could visit his website. I have a link at the bottom of my signature. Here is a link to a picture of the tool you need. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=71 Quote
moneybags Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Do NOT use a 3 jaw puller. Unless you want to buy a new flywheel. You need a flywheel puller to do it right. They only coast like $12 bucks. Jeff at Rast Racing has them. link is on top of the page. Quote

Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 3 to 4 degrees of timing for standard trail riding. Quote
Tuaca Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Puller and impact helped me greatly when I did mine last week Quote
fox_forma Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 yeah if you have access to an impact gun it works wonders, takes a whole 3 seconds to pop the flywheel off if that long using the puller with it Quote

Might need to mix half race fuel and half premium. Be careful . Quote
