Clutch cover hose

I dont think iv ever seen this come up but i was wondering if you even need the hose that comes out of the clutch cover?

If you're talkin about the vent hose that is below the waterpump housing you need to keep because it is submerged in oil. :thumbsup:

I was thinking if you plugged it up bc the new lock up covers have it eliminated so i don't see why you would need it.

Yeah, my directdrive does not have the vent tube. I had to go back to the "T" that comes from the crankcase breather and put a coupler in there to get rid of the "T"....................

i say screw it im gonna take it out i like stuff to look clean.

no its not needed... it there isncase your motor build pressure on thats side it can release it... should be able to plug it...

Do a search in this forum for vent lines. This topic has come up many times. I think Bansh-eman and I both started threads about it when we were sort of new here. One of the later threads sent me on a picture posting spree as well. :geek:

There is one thats on top of the transmission and since the transmission and clutch section share the same oil i think it'll be fine
