like it says i just got PT's and right now im running a 210 or 220 main and im wundering if i need to change it out to a bigger one or smaller, i live in the U.P of MI, thanks

hey big guy whats you elevation and temp? I've been running the Pt mids now for a year I'm at around 700 ft. and the temp is 70-100 on my stock carbs I run 310 main stock pilot airscrew i believe 1.5 been running it this way for a year and plugs look fantastic and the motor still has 158 in each cylinder....just giving you something to start with bud have a good one..........

ya i have no idea but the temps range anywhere from 60 to 90 degrees,but i have no idea what the elivetion is. but thanks anyways man.

Go with a 310 or 300 and work your way down.

 

Are those bare pt's or do you plan on having something done to them?

ok thanks guys i figured out that im 1100 ft about sea level, so i dont know if that changes anything. but ya they are bare metal, and i plan on getting them ceramic coated. but thanks for the help guys,

ok my motor builder told me to go with a 260 so i think all start out with that. thanks alot guys.

first off, what air box and/or air filter system are you running with that?

 

 

I cant believe I forgot to ask that.

 

260-270 should be good with a lid 300-310 open airbox.

i run the lid on it with a moose air filter.
