Hey guys my name is Austin and i have just purchased a 2000 banshee with k&n filter, pro-circuit pipes, and jetted not sure what jets or size. I don't know much about these things so i'm here for a little r&d and to pick everyones brains. I plan on stripping it down and restoring the bike. Now for the questions: Where are the best places for parts, Where to go to see good power gains? I'm not big into the moto-cross or sand dunes, pretty much just want to build an rediculously fast four wheeler. Any help would be greatful!

First off welcome to the HQ..........................

You first need to figure your budget and what you are really planning on doin' with the shee. You can start off with a port job, new head w/ smaller domes, new reeds, bigger carbs, better exhaust, larger pistons, etc. You also should look at your suspension, because all that new power has to get to the ground and you have to be able to control a machine that during WOT doesn't want to be controlled..............

There is also the swingarm, with more power you need to extend it some, how much depends on how much power you are pushing and how well you want to control the bike.................

By the way welcome to the sickness, and you may want to introduce your shee to your bank account because they are going to get really personal really quickly. Besides, you can go as fast as your bank account will allow...............
