CalBansheeKid
Well, Im new to this site, but not new to banshees. Ive had my '01 for 2-3years now and its my second banshee. (First was a big mistake.) But ive got a clean slate now. What i got done is a set of T-5 pipes, 2x1 Air intake by Toomey, with proper jetting by friends' rec. and tusk nerfs. Ive already got in trouble for not having spark arrestors, so thats my next thing on the list. But i wanted to know what your opinions are on what i should do for mods. I was thinking a new head, but im not sure where to go. I ride dunes mostly, farmland and some hillclimbing. Its just a general use bike. Thanks for your help. Shee-Male
god tires, and suspension, othere than that, raised compression & advanced timing works well for little money.
bansheefreak
get a noss head .. it uses stock studs and he does killer work.. get domes to bump up compression some amd maybe a mild port job.. sounds like you ride in alot of open areas so porting would be nice for this.. Wallrat
Advance the timing 4 degrees, then ignore the engine mods until you get better suspension.
