REFLOYD Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Is there any way to tell the size of the bore without taking the engine all the way apart? Can I just pull the head off and tell? Quote
REFLOYD Posted April 8, 2007 Author Report Posted April 8, 2007 Stock? Cubs? it is stock just trying to find out the size of my pistons without tearing it down yet Quote
scooter Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 64 is stock.if you have the head off you can measure the cylinders. if there not messed up to bad 10 or 20 over should clean them up Quote
fastrthnu Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 take off the head,. turn the motor slow to bring one piston to the bottom and stick a bore gauge or really good calipers in there. Bore gauge is much better. Check both cyclinders because once in every great while youll come across cylinders of 2 different sizes. Quote
