Ill start by saying I have a 96 shee with fattys and pc2s gytr filter w/ stock airbox snorkel removed. I also put some used ac pro peg nerfs and some pro taper bars on it too. What would be the next best step? adj timing plate or deck the head (My race shop will do it for $25) to raise compression, or both?I dont want to spend the extra cash on a cool head right now I wanna see how much I can pull out of the stock head. I thought this thing was fast stock and now you might as well put some premixed gas in an IV and shoot it into my arm because im addicted.

Any advice will help.

mill and advance. if your shop will do it for $25 and you can get a timing plate for $35,. why not do both?

clamp-on filters(dry riding conditions) or pro-design pro-flow kit and ditch the airbox lid (wet riding conditions).

As far as compression and timing, what is your elevation and what kind of fuel are you willing to buy (race or pump fuel)?

I would like to stay on 92/93 pump premium I have 110 leaded pump race gas available to me if needed. I am in Detroit Mi I ride mostly fast trails and open woods riding my elevation is 400-800 ft I just rebuilt the top end with new weisco pro lites new rings and a hone. I was thinking cut the head .025 or.030 my stock compression now is 130.
