Many people trail ride and get rid of their fronts. The front tires don't throw rocks up.Unless there is a lot of mud, but if you're scared of getting dirty then why ride.

 

I think it looks cleaner. :thumbsup:

I don't know of any added bonus, I just think that they look a hell of a lot better with the fenders cut and in my experience you don't get dirtier with or without them. I guess it saves you a pound or two of weight and maybe a little wind resistance? Just my .02

It also allows shorter riders (like me) to be able to see the front tires. I absolutely cant stand to ride a quad with front fenders because they block my view of the front tires. Especially in narrow trails...
