I don't know of any added bonus, I just think that they look a hell of a lot better with the fenders cut and in my experience you don't get dirtier with or without them. I guess it saves you a pound or two of weight and maybe a little wind resistance? Just my .02 Quote

I absolutely cant stand to ride a quad with front fenders because they block my view of the front tires. Especially in narrow trails... Quote
