Turn around time is usually around 2 to 4 weeks depending on parts condition when recieved........... Triple plated chrome reflects like a Mirror !!!!!!!!!! The key is in the prep work & The cleaner the part comes to us - the lower the cost & better the quality (No items rusted beyond belief please!!)........ Degreased & sandblasted parts are encouraged - although we provide them services ....... We just set up My friends garage with a large blasting cabinet , multiple grinding setups & a large pedestal buffer to handle all the prep work prior to dipping................. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ * I also have a small benchtop Powdercoating Setup for smaller parts like Arms, wheels, & such (Cant do a frame but can outsource if needed - Sorry) The cleaner the item / the lower the cost for reducing prep labor....... * I do Custom Painting services available as well..... The cleaner the item / the lower the cost for reducing prep labor....... I spray all paints - BC/CC , Pearls , 3 & 4 stage Kandies as well........ I use mainly HOK , ALSA , & PPG products......... I do alot of airbrush graffix & some higher detailed work but, mostly mild to keep things moving along - LMK if you need a helmet done _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I am looking into setting up my workshop to start making custom swingarms for the banshee & other possible quads...... We have access to CNC Plasma , Lazer & water jetting capabilities as well ..... All i need to start is some help & knowledge from you guys as far as, what materials you feel is the best used, What you would like to see being used , & your Thoughts about curing common flaws in other designs.......... STREETSWEEPAZ Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 (edited) Yeah typical plating from the manufactures suck - They just dont take time with the copper & nickle - Most times you can see what appears to be stains thru the nickle & chrome......... The typical price should be around what i quoted but may be slightl;y higher due to stripping the exhisting chrome ........ The chrome my friend does top notch work - I dont know if you would want to abuse it ..........Ha Ha Aluminum cab be done ,,,,, I was told it Kinda sucks to do but , It can be done ............. You cant get the complete suspension on a car done for around $1200 out there.............. Good services are hard to fing up where im from - Im in the Upper Midwest area................... Seat cover - Have one with flames on it for trade -- My shee cant roll with yellow & orange flames -- Its Pinkish Purple ..... !!!!!!!!!!!!
