87sheerips Posted March 19, 2007 Author Report Posted March 19, 2007 media is for books and movies and such. they will bang you with a non machinable charge when you get there. take my word. try gpx. Whats GPX?? Also, Greyhound does not go to Alaska. It looks like USPS is the best so far. Around 92 bucks for priority. Anyone shipped tires B4, how much do they weigh on average (on the heavy side)? FireHead Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Well Im shipping some mud machine tires to Alaska, and want to see who has the best rates for stuff like this. Any input would be great!!I know USPS is going to rape me! Depending on size and weight you may be ahead to use freight forwarder that specializes in shipping to Alaska. The guys at the address below are an example. If you need a better recommendation for a forwarder, I can call and ask my dad (he's in the freight business). http://www.pafak.com/ Quote
87sheerips Posted March 22, 2007 Author Report Posted March 22, 2007 USPS is the shit!!! They helped me conjure up their biggest priority mail boxes to fit this shit. Heres the prices:: 2 rear tires, 40lbs to alaska, priority one week, for 98 bucks!! set of pipes, priority, to maryland for 17 bucks. GREAT DEAL!!! Quote
