blaster gearing

does anyonye know what a good gearing is for a blaster? i have power but its just motor and no go, its got the 240 big bore, its stock gearing 14/40. any opinons? new clutch and its perfect

just do 14/38......the 15 tooth front sprocket takes some case grinding to get it on and then when its on people say its not safe...but it would probably go around 70mph with 20 inch tires depending on how high your engine can rev

you don't have to grind the case for a 15 tooth front sprocket. you have to grind the stator cover.

I wouldnt grind anything. Just change the rear sprocket....
