ok i have just rebuild and ran in my shee

SEA LEVEL AND TEMPS 60 - 90F

firstly i will let you know every thing before rebuild

BEFORE REBUILD dmc alien exhaust - dualstage foam filter with adaptor plate (lid on) - boyesson dual stage power reeds on stock cages and stock intake with this setup i was running 25pilot and 300 mains

NOW AFTER REBUILD AND MORE MODS

dmc alien exhaust - dualstage foam filter adaptor plate now with a k&n power lid on - modquad billet intake manifold with built in cross over tube - same reeds boyseen dual stage power reeds stock cages - prodesign cool head 21cc domes - advance timing +4 - bored .25 over with wossner lite teflon coated pistons - ok i also got some porting done i actually know the some of the specs of the porting intake was dropped by 8mm and the intake opened alot , the exhaust port was dropped by 3mm and opened to match pipe opening to create the smoothest flow possible into exhuast, im not to sure about the transfer port but i know they were opened down near the crank but not in the cylinder. hope that info helps ok now im up to 27.5 pilot this im not worried about but i have 370 MAINS .

does this sound excessivly large jump from 300s before other mods were added to 370s after rebuild or do my new mods justify the mains increase

i know yas are going to say do a plugs chop i have and they look fine im happy with them im just curious on some opinions to see weather the new parts and porting justify the mains increase

also i know i have not got any air leaks anywhere if anyone thinks the new modquad intake manifold was pulled apart and loctite gasket eliminator was added to create the best seal everywhere. also the botts from the air to carbs are snug and secure. so air leaks are ruled out well i believe so

thanks in advance darren

I wouldnt worry so much about what size it is more so than how the plugs look and how it runs. All bikes are different and just because one runs a certain jet doenst mean another will run the same. For reference, my bike with mods in sig ran 410's. It was a little rich but it ran like great.

Those are pretty big mains w/ the air box lid on originally, so just putting the new lid on, you'd have to jump the mains a few sizes...the stock lid really holds back the air a piped shee needs...the porting sounds aggressive on the intake. Sounds like a dune port, but I'm no genius on porting specs. But given that, your mains sound about right...If the plugs look great and the shee pulls hard and revs out quick, then I'd say your very close...Your shee looks pretty good.
