racer
I need some help installing an age old game on a WIndows XP PC. The game is C&C Red Alert for Win95, Im sure some of you are familiar with it. Bought it when I was like ten, but Im not nerdy enough I guess to understand how to play all these new fangled games, so here I go. Everytime I try to install it it gives a new error. From Cant run 16bit program, to cant find install, to cant read setup, and one other, that I cant remember right now. Anyone know how to just get this damn thing installed? I have tryed the Win95 compatability mode option, but to no avail. Im sure I left something out, so just holler at me with some questions or advice. Or a new game along the same lines if you have played it before.

Lee
You need a DOS emulator. essentially 16-bit games utilized DOS, even though you ran them in windows 95/98/ME. DOSbox works pretty good. http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=
