I was curious if anyone would know what exhaust setup would work best for a 10 mil stroker, 70mm piston trinity big bore kit. I will be running race gas, 35.5mm mikuni flat slide carbs, v-force, 36mil billet intakes, lockup clutch, ect. I want to run an out of frame drag pipe. Should I get big or small bore pipes with this setup? I think it's round about a 470cc. CPI or Shearer? Are ftz pipes any good? RDZ? Thanks, Lance

im runnin rocket pipes on my 10mm 68mm cub... they seem to run pretty well. i would go with shearer over cpi but if youre willing to wait a couple months there is a new pipe coming out that ran real hard on my 10mm cub.. they had a lot of bottom end and pulled very hard on top..

Since you are running stock cylinders I recommmend small bore pipes. Like I said in the PM we can run through the math if you want. You need to move a certain amount of air at a certain frequency for an expansion chamber to be efficient. There are alot of people running big bore pipes for no good reason.

If you want the best pipe for you motor then you need to have a set custom made for you motor. If you want the best pipe you can buy off the shelf, then that is a different story. The Grand River Racing pipes are nice along with Wicked pipes. I am not a fan of FTZ or RDZ pipes, but i don't really have a good reason for that. Shearer's are good as always and so are CPI's.

yea its pretty fuckin ridiculous.. Lee is apparently ignoring it because ive said something about it in several different posts several different times. maybe we need to start a thread simply for that in website issues or site announcements. i guess i dont see why it would be so hard to appoint a few mods to clean shit up.

What the hell...........the dude also sent me PM's about that shit. I think I replied to all of them, not really paying attention and seeing it the same person. I want a refund for my personal time. :verymad:
