how much are these pipes worth?

I have a set of DG pipes and silencers in decent shape. there black no dents just pealing down by the engine, and im going to sell them but i have no idea how much there worth, could you guys give me an idea on how much there worth so i dont get ripped off. i was told i soud get 200 for them does that sound right? thansk in advance.

I am not sure anyone would on this forum would give you $200 for them. I would think that you might get something more like $75 on here. Your best bet is to unload them on eBay where you might atleat get $150 if they are in great shape. :thumbsup:

damn do these things suck that bad. that sucks i need to get enough to atleast get a set of used pipes.it looks like im stuck with these things. i might put them on ebay with a reserve at like $125 something.thnaks tho.

The DG pipes are better than stock pipes, but that's about it. I think they just have a bad reputation around here and not too many people used them. I bet you could make someone happy if you tried selling them on eBay. You never know what people will get excited over on there. :thumbsup:

i sold a set of dg pipes on ebay last year , they were chrome , in pretty good condition ,no dents , with silencers and i only got 120 for them ,

painted black , you would be lucky to get 100 out of them on ebay , probably 75 bucks ,

 

my dg pipes didnt perform half bad , they were better then you would think , a million times better than stock , you have to keep you gas on reserve becuase the petcock hits the pipe and its a bitch to change plugs ,

I rode a bansh with DG pipes before. Hell of a lot better than stock, id see you pulling 150 for em on ebay. Shit I saw a stock frame go for 700 once, so you never know! :thumbsup:

they are not that bad of a pipe (power) my shee came with them , i switched over to fmf fatty's , i noticed more power with the fatty's , not too much more though , i did get more bottom end withthe fmf's

 

the do make it a pain in the ass to work on you motor , sell them on ebay , get a set of fatty's or t5's .

 

wont cost you that much after you sell those dg's

 

i actually liked the way the dg silencers look.

My main complaint about DG in general is with quality of their parts. The pipes performance is probably as good as anything else out there for the price and they are certainly better than stock.

 

The other thought process I have about DG pipes really is just that if you have a choice why wouldn't you buy something else. :biggrin:

I would clean them up the best you can and try to get 150 for them, which is a very fair price given they're in good condition. DG's aren't as bad as the rep they receive....I ran the DG national pipes for a couple years, very good mid range and decent top, they seemed to be a good all around pipe. Only reason I got rid of them was because they were rusted, and I like chrome :biggrin:

ya now im caught in a it a bad spot. i am trying to get on the duncan support team and i need to run the PT's and im goin to have a hell of a time trying to find a set of those for a good price. with the discount im still looking at 600 bucks for a set. and i dont see very many used ones floating around.so im going to have to think about what im going to do here now. but thanks guys i think these things are going on ebay.

i just sold a set of pt mids on ebay about a week ago , they were verry clean no dents , chrome was nice too , they sold for 300 , went cheap , i see set that look like shit go for over 400 ,

 

keep looking i see them on ebay all the time ,
