hollisatp Posted February 23, 2007 Author Report Posted February 23, 2007 so you ran with no stator? Quote
dajogejr Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 so you ran with no stator? No...I ran with no rectifier (or voltage regulator...) You have to have a Stator and CDI and Coil to run. I'm not sure if a PVL uses a Stator or not...but, I'll never own one.... Quote
Bansh-eman Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 no u cant run without a stator... thats what give your bike the power to run... we are talking about a regulator Quote
FireHead Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 It seems to me that the lighting portion of the stator and the ignition portion of the stator are separate circuits. In regards to the Electrex unit and the voltage regulator, it actually use an additional regulator in addition to the OEM unit on all of the high output models. I am not going to open up the PVL can or worms. Quote
