Pure Irony

So this year I decide to get into the sand desert thing. Historically, I've ridden my dirt bike (YZ250) in the dirt desert...Ocotillo Wells, etc.

As I stated in the beginning, I'm gonna try the sand thing. Brought out my bike with a paddle but quads seemed the way to go. I have 3 decades experience with the Yamaha Twin 2-strokes.. an R5, 3 RD350s, 3 RD400s, and 2 RZ350s. Deciding on which quad to pick up was essentially a NO BRAINER!!

I buy an RV, awesome Banshee, load up on fuel and supplies and have a plan on meeting up with people not only local but nation wide (Thanks Banshee HQ!!)

On Valentine's Day I begin to feel kinda wierd..

2 days later I can't get out of bed...I am Sooooo Bugged by the FLU!!

Today, (Sunday) I can only bang out a few key strokes and hope there is some semblence of cohesiveness.

I'll probably be OK by tomorrow or the next day...I just wanted to vent!!

 

Maybe next year!!

If it makes you feel any better, I had to play tour guide for my parents this last weekend, so I didn't get to go either. However, the museum that is the USS Midway is freakin awesome! :thumbsup:
