FireHead Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 i am going to finish taking it apart tonight and i will double check everything i have done so far. by the way what is that pancake bearing. and if it helps that much where can i get 1. A pancake bearing is an aftermarket assembly that replaces the adjuster in your clutch pressure plate. It is basically a flat, caged roller bearing. Quote
tomtunas Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I got mine at FAST racing. Talk to Jeff and he'll take care of ya. I think it was $45. Quote
jeepman380 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Might want to check your clutch adjustment. Check the arrows on the clutch pull lever and on the case. Should line up or be a little bit towards the stator side with the slack out of the clutch lever. You can adjust that with the nut and philips head screw in the outer clutch hub. Jeff at F.A.S.T. sells the pancake bearings. Give him a call. Quote
