TLONG Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 i bought a banshee with stock shocks and it had 1 spring that is yellow and 1 spring is white,i have a extra white spring but not sure if the springs can be changed or not (clymer says some can and some cannot be changed) anyway if someone has one at a good price please lmk thanks in advance Quote

kaotik1 Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I had a set of stockers that I coated black. If you get a spring compressor, put a long bolt through the top eye of the shock. 1. Hook the SC over the bolt , and the other end goes on the spring. 2. Tighten the compressor till the lower stay for the spring is exposed. 3. remove that spring stay(looks like a plate. 4. Loosen the compressor till you can remove the spring, and replace it with the right color. 5. reverse these steps to put the spring retainer back on. Quote
