highroller355 Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 (edited) my buddy has an 06 banshee stock carbs with 340 main stage 2 needle kit from dyna jet stock pilots clip set at 5th position have alot of porting and a milled head fmf fatty pipes with power core silencers and power lid just got porting done put it back together with this set up and if i hit th throttle lightly the rpms stay up tap it againa and it comes down to perfect idle it only happens when i give it a little gas could this be his needle hight or pilots or do you think his carb or carbs might be hanging up Edited February 5, 2007 by highroller355 Quote

I would go through the cable, it could be something else but i have had that happen to me as well and this is what it turned out to be. good luck erik Quote

Check where the cable goes into the thumb throttle, check where the cable goes from 2 into 1, and check the carb tops (if the tors is eliminated). A lot of times the cable isn't straight by one of these connections causing it to pull on the cable a litttle. Quote
