Knight_Rider Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 i checked my compression today in my freshly rebuilt motor it still has the stock head on it and i got a even 150psi in each cylinder unless the head has been milled before i thought they were stock 130psi? any1 got any thoughts? the compression test was done with the bike cold and throttle wide open Quote
ThE_BaNsHeE_mAn88 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 thats would be my guess is that the head is milled. but i could be wrong.what kind of pistions did you get? Quote
woodro77 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 are you sure your compression tester is accurate , maybe borrow a friends tester and check again , i just rebuilt my motor and it had 138 in each cylinder with a stock head and wiesco pistons and i thought that was a little high . Hmmm, not by much, last time I did a rebuild my Actron read 130 even, then after break in, and few months it only read 125, and it's been there ever since. Quote
