Ok, so i just bought a trinity 2 into 1 intake with a 38mm mikuni carb, my question is will i lose any top end power. cuz i have heard that it gives great on the low end and smooths out the powerband, but i dont wanna lose any power, it said that it increase's the top end 15% on trinity website and thats great, but i just wanted to check with you guys and make sure. My banshee has LRD pipes 12 port, advanced timming, bosen reeds and a shaved head.

I just installed the same carb setup and have a "similar" overall setup...haven't had a chance to ride the bike yet, but the throttle response is crisper than a hard taco, lol

I know of 4 or 5 guys using them in the sand (including me) and we all like the power it makes. Top end still seems to be plenty ample for what we do.

For those of you guys who do have them. Can you help me out. Here is a list of the mods I have and tell me if I need the 38 or 35 single carb.

DMC Alien pipes

No-Toil Air filter

No airbox

boyeson power reeds

.030 bore

.030 weisco pro lites

stock gearing

No porting (but plan on smoothing up the transfer ports eventually)

I'm about to buy this from trinity in the next week or so, so all the input I can get will be invaluable.

Any jet suggestions? I'm not sure if trinity sets them up for me or not, but I'm sure I'll have to dial it in on my own. I've only delt with the mikuni stockers so I dont know the jetting numbers. It would be easier to have a starting point to work with. And thanks.

I would start about a 45 pilot, 180 main, EEK needle on the third clip...but that's just a guess.
