Listing a banshee for my buddy. He lost interest, snowmobiling is more his thing.

We're located in SE MI area, he lives in Warren, MI. It's a suburb just north of Detroit.

He has a clean/clear title 98 banshee. He bought it last year, and it was stock, I mean bone stock.

Down to the original air cleaner and stock hand grips.

Since then, I've installed personally:

Black Toomey T5 pipes with Cobra Spark Arrestors on back.

Removed the airbox, put the coolant bracket in place and put Pod Filters on it.

Removed the TORS from the carbs.

Jetted (although, it's jetted for the summer...so, it needs to be richened up, as said...he's a snowmobiler..)

It's got Razr 2 tires on it all around, probably 50 to 60 miles on them...and these tires are in GREAT shape.

Brand new Barnett Clutch with 3 HD springs and 3 stock springs.

It is yellow/black/gray. Full plastics still on it. Other than the normal scratches on the plastic and paint from being ridding in trails, it is in great, great shape. As said, it could probably use a little adjusting as I jetted it for 70 degree weather. He's had nothing but 32:1 Klotz R50 run through it...and one weekend of riding on the tranny oil.

He's looking to get 2500 or best. Clean, straight frame....

let me know...I can get pics put up and sent out to those interested....

Replied.

And...for all.

My buddy would rather sell it locally, or have someone willing to meet him very close by.

Unless the buyer wanted to pay for ALL shipping and make ALL arrangements, he just doesn't have time to drop it off, etc....

Sorry...my buddy was lazy in cleaning it.

Plus, it's about 10 degrees or so here in SE MI, so...he didn't want it all to freeze on there, either....just needs a little cleaning...it's solid and straight bike, though....

Ha ha ha ha...Sorry (I think) I didn't see this till now.

If you're able to find a banshee for 1600 this clean, with this low of hours and done right, please let ME know, I'll buy two of them.

Sorry...but not even close.

ok id go 2000 but that highest u can get them all day for that year for $2500

I'm confused....

If you can buy them all day long for that year for 2500, why would I ask my buddy to sell it to you for 1600, then 2000?

Sorry...

i'll give you 2 kegs of beer for it??? lol. that is a nice looking bike wish i had the money.

Whoa whoa whoa....wait a minute. Throw in a tapper and we just might have a deal...:)

New Price, 2300.

To be honest, it's my buddy's quad as mentioned. He is NOT hurting for money, doesn't need to sell it, just decided he wants to stick to snowmobiles...that's all.

He got it for a steal, and is looking to get fair value for it. Talked to him this morning, he'll take 2300...and if he can't sell it for that, he's gonna put it on ebay with a decent reserve or keep it till spring where it will fetch a better price around here.

So...new price.
