Another question

i found this crank on ebay it says 4 mill crank but it has 110 rods

 

{This is a new 4mm crankshaft for a YFZ350 Banshee. I am not sure of the manufacture.It does come with 110 mm rods as well as a spacer plate and gaskets.}

 

does it still need a spacer plate with that short of rods and is the horse power as good as 115 mm rods new to all this thanks for the help

The spacer plate is for the stroke not the rod length, the spacer plate could leak and blow your motor so I would have your cylinders ported for the sroker crank as for the long rods I've heard that they make your motor more reliable but I know that they give more power but you have to use the 795 series wiesco pistons for the long rods and that you need the domes in the head cut. :thumbsup:

that crank will run fine... its just a little less reliable... the long rod crank has a better angle at which the motor fires putting less stress on the bearings and all the components....

 

the spacer plate is kinda a half ass way to accomedate a stroker... if you really want to feel the differance of the stroker crank have your jugs ported and get your domes cut.... with the rods being 110 not 115 i want to say the pistons series is 513 but im not 100% depending on how much they are asking for it id say just get your self a normal 4mil long rod and be good with it...
