3 Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Hi guys, i am looking to buy a good front suspension kit. I don't need the top of the line everything, i need something reliable at a good price. So if you have good suggestions of where to look for it let me know. I already check Alba and they have a good deal i think, let me know what you think. Quote
Rock-46 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Custom Creations makes a good set of Arms. They are in So Cal. I'm running Elka shocks and I like them. Quote
mod quad 2 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 asr a arms with yfz or works would be a cheap route i also heard asr has good stuff Quote
3 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Report Posted January 25, 2007 I didn't hear that everythings was perfect with ASR and i dont want something cheap, just a good deal. Thats why im thinking of buying everything at the same place, to save on shipping. Quote

3 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Report Posted January 25, 2007 Woooooo!! what happened?? damn technology!!!! Quote
letsgetthisdone Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 U will not be dissapointed with ASR arms and a good set of shocks. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Iv herd way more bad than good with ASR. If i were to do it good id go with ASR, Jenseen, or quicksand. There all good brands and i have never heard anything bad about them. They are all gonna cost you in the 500 rang but when your lifes on the line 100 extra dollars is nothing to me. As for shocks i say elkas all the way but then again there are a lot of good ones out there. PEP, Axis, and Ohlins are top notch also but its all in the amount of money your gonna spend. good luck with everything and if you need any more help ill try my best to point you in the right direction. Hollister_Hitman Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I have janssen a-arm and they are good quality except for the pc is a little thin. They also sent me a f'd up set of a-arms the first go around so it took me 4 weeks to get some replacement ones. My gf has asr +3+1 on her blaster, they are the thicker racing ones. We got them off ebay for $400. They seem to be holding up well and they look nicely built. One of the lower a-arms needed a little tap tap with the hammer to install. I haven't heard anything bad about the quicksand ones. Waht ever shocks you get MAKE SURE you get +1" forward ones Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Well.. I'm going to say http://www.quicksandmotorsports.com/aarm.htm because that's what I'm running and like my stuff very much. The PC is thick as hell, I put this bike thru some rocky stuff, other things have chipped but not the a arms.. All ship shape. You can find nice shocks on ebay for less those dot com stores. Buying a kit isn't the cheaper route. I'm low budget so I buy good used stuff. Not the best but good enough. One of our bikes has Houser's with nice Heim Joints & great PC, here's a setup with shocks for less than a G http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-2-1...072410159QQrdZ1 Quote
SoCalinIt Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I have the LSR +2 +1 arms with Works shocks up front, and I love them! I only ride in the sand, so I don't abuse my Shee as much as the other guy, but this set up feels great! Just my .02 BTW... I'm with ClimbAnyHill... I buy good USED stuff... I got the complete front end package with lines for $425 shipped to my damn door... Can't beat that! Good luck! Quote
3 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Report Posted January 25, 2007 Thanks a lot for all your inputs guys, man i love this forum! EastCoast, you confuse me a bit, you said that ASR is bad and good at the same time?? I research a lot on the forum about them and the opinion seem to be really 50/50. I still think its a good deal. Climb any Hill, that ebay kit is cool but i just read a lot of bad about Fullflight. And by now i will really look into the for sale section, i wish ill have some luck like you guys did. Quote
