SavageBanshee Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Yamaha Banshee took first place in the quad catagory of the 2007 Dakar Rally THE most prestigeous and toughest off road event in the world. 15 days of riding/navigating from Lisbon portugal to Dakar senegal. Granted the 2 stroke 350 was swapped out for an 850 4 stroke but it still says something for the 15 year + design of the shee. Truely the greatest ATV ever built. It was rode by a Chzeck Joseph Machacek. Quote

Animalman294 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Well with a motor like that I'm sure there wasn't any banshee motor parts, and I'm pretty sure with that much torque that the suspension was after market, and the plastics were trimmed, and an aftermarket gas tank was added. So, with that all said, I think you meant to say a modified banshee frame won the Rally..... :yelrotflmao: J/K man, its still cool............... Quote
