nunyabinness Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 i think you could have gotten a better deal from rockymountainatv.com not sure though cause your link doesn't show what you got. Quote
Washburn Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Your gonna love those tires. For Trails and MX they cant be beat. Decent price too. They are my favorite rough but not to harsh enviorment tires. I go with the Razr IIs because they also grip like mad and slide like noones buisness. They are alot meatier and they grip better in the rough stuff rocks, roots,Ruts ect espically up hills and they last more than twice as long as the XCRs. Quote
trueraiderfan Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 Damn so the XCR's donrt have that good of a life on them I sure was counting on them to last me a while I mean I think I got a good deal on them but almost 300 bones I need them to last a lil while Quote
Washburn Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Damn so the XCR's donrt have that good of a life on them I sure was counting on them to last me a while I mean I think I got a good deal on them but almost 300 bones I need them to last a lil while They are a Really good tire. They last you a long time but most of that depends of the riding you do. Holeshot tread is softer, and they grip like mad on dirt roads and trails. They are lighter by a few lbs too. Not as meaty as the Razr tires espically the Razr IIs. . They will chew up much quicker than you would like if you ride on alot of roads. . If you ride alot of rocky rutty nasy trails that chew your tires all to hell I recomend cancleling your order ASAP and buying some Razr IIs if you want a good tire that will last you forever. Plus you can go somewhere else and get a better price. Holeshot make a damn good tire, they are my favorites, but the Razr IIs are more Ideal for my riding style. Quote
mybadbanshee Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 told ya to go with the razors, but noooo dont listen to me. Quote
trueraiderfan Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 hahaha your too funny lol anyway thanks for the replies guy but i really wanted something that bits like mad because of where we drage race at . Also I need something that will do ok in sand down by the river where we ride quite a bit cause im not using my new extreme haulers down at the river they are just for the dune. and I will be happy if they last me 2 seasons. I dont go on bad trails with ricks and stuff the trails we go on are all clear so im not too worried about that besides with this new engine set up I dont plan on riding a buch of trails anyway so I think im ok there.
