BigRed350x Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 OK I'm sick of messing with this thing on methanol so I'm putting it on race gas. I can't ride it in the cold temps we have around here when its on methanol and there have been more than a few days when I could have been out riding, but couldn't because of the carbs... I'll make someone a deal... I will trade straight across for a set of Keihin 35 PWK Airstrykers set up for gas, if I keep the billet carb bowls. I will sell the whole setup: 35mm Keihin PWK Airstryker Carbs set up for alky, w/ powerjets, billet bowls, 5-way T for purging, the purge tank I made, and an assortment of alky jets from .098 up to .125 for $350 with shipping. I would prefer to just trade straight across for a normal set of 35PWK Airstrykers so I can keep the billet bowls. I would probably even consider a trade for a set of normal 35PWK's. If I trade though, I'm going to keep the billet bowls. Oh yeah... I don't use mikuni, I will only trade for keihin carbs. - Jared Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 (edited) The caps and slides don't come with the carbs. I would prefer someone trade me for a set of normal 35PWK's. I guess if you buy the carbs I can include the caps and slides, but I would really rather just trade someone. - Jared Edited January 19, 2007 by BigRed350x Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 Oh yeah... I would have loved to post this over on planetsand.com if they hadn't gone and fucked that forum by charging people. So I guess planetsand.com is just going to miss out of a lot of business... LOL Quote
dajogejr Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 That's too bad you couldn't get the alky to run right J...it sure is nice, but...it gets sucked down like no tomorrow. Your altitude no doubt had something to do with it... Good luck, free bump. Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 20, 2007 Author Report Posted January 20, 2007 Oh, I'm sure I could get it running and tuned and everything, its just that I don't stop riding just because its winter time. Trying to tune alky at 7500ft and 15 Quote
