JET 99 Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 figured i would try to keep up with where i am at on my rebuild............... new bumper installed... ac race changing over alloy boltz set... elka rear shock hung on frame... link bearings pressed in.... link hanging on frame... just got done replacing swing arm bearings tonight (think they were 1999 vintage) amazing how steel needles can turn to red dust.. ive only owned for a couple years so i have been replacing stuff as i go gonna re hang swinger and hopefully take some pics tommorow motor should be back from jeff in a few days wanna get the rear suspension done before the motor gets back!!!! ive got a nice little box of toys from jeff coming also.. work is a bitch right now.. 10-12 hrs 7 day sched.. but i sent motor off the end october and i really want to get it all back in one piece.. it should run like a raped ape for mx/play and have a good suspension.... up front i would like to thank all those who give valid useful information on the HQ wish me luck and no fu-ups i will try and get some pics before i start putting back together.. who knows maybe it will help some one Quote
